The Vivo X5 Pro was made official in May and we gave readers details of specs and more in our launch article on it. At that time regional availability and pricing wasn’t known but if you’re in India you’re now in luck. We can tell you today about the Vivo X5 Pro India launch, and the price has been confirmed at Rs. 27,980.

The Vivo x5 Pro will release across India from August 15th and those who book the phone before July 31st will get an opportunity to win gifts according to Vivo. As well as this a Vivo X5 Pro could be won every day. At midnight today pre-booking will be available for the sale on the official Vivo India website.

Specifications of the Vivo X5 Pro include a Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor, Adreno 405 graphics, and a 5.2-inch AMOLED display with Full HD resolution and 2.5D glass. It has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable to 128GB via microSD), and a 2450 mAh battery. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.

Further Vivo X5 Pro specs are a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video capture, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone runs the Android 5.0 Lollipop-based Funtouch OS. The X5 Pro features Gorilla Glass on the front and back of the handset for protection and it’s just 6.4mm thick. Another feature is the Cirrus Logic DAC AK4375 audio chip for Hi-Fi audio.
