Vivo introduced the V1 in July with a price tag of Rs. 17,980, and now the Vivo V1 Max price has been set at Rs. 21,980. It’s due to go on sale in the first week of next month. The Vivo V1 Max is a dual SIM smartphone and packs a 1.4GHz Snapdragon 615 64-bit octa-core processor, Adreno 405 graphics, and a 5.5-inch IPS display with HD resolution of 1920 x 1080.
It has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded with microSD to 128GB, and a 2720 mAh battery stepping up from the 2300 mAh battery of the standard V1. Connectivity is catered for with 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and microUSB. The Vivo V1 Max runs Android 5.0 Lollipop skinned with the Funtouch 2.1 UI.
Camera capabilities are taken care of with a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. One of the camera features is gender Beautification mode utilizing face recognition technology. The Vivo V1 Max also has dual speakers and Iconic HiFi audio chip, and further features include Smart Wake 2.0 and Smart screenshots.
The handset has a metal body and is 6.79mm thick. The Vivo V1 Max joins other recent phones including the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra Dual and the Meizu MX5 that both launched for India today.
