If the Apple Watch is going to have a big contender this year, it’s going to come from Samsung. The Samsung Gear S2 price has been tipped for Europe, but the company has been quiet when it comes to consumers in the states. Well, that’s changed today as we’ve gotten wind of the Samsung Gear S2 price for the US.
One of the big questions to come out of IFA is the Samsung Gear S2 price. Sammy sucked us in with the look of their new wearable, and even though it’s sans Android Wear, it’s pretty damned cool. Whenever a cool new product drops in the wearables world, it can be expensive and the Samsung Gear S2 price for Europe is rumored to start at €379. If you live in the US, you’ll be pleased to know that price will stay comparable.
The folks over at Pocketnow have learned some details about the Samsung Gear S2 pricing and it’s good news if you’re looking to pick up Sammy’s new smartwatch. The cheapest version will be the regular Gear S2 at $350 while the Gear S2 Classic price is set at $400. Want the 3G-enabled model? That one is said to go for $400 as well, which is solid considering similar cellular options on both sides of the fence.
We’re still not sure where you’ll be able to snag a Samsung Gear S2 in the US, but you can expect it to hit carriers and retailers alike when it arrives. As for the Gear S2 release date, it’s rumored to arrive on October 2nd which is only a few short weeks away.
Are you looking forward to the Samsung Gear S2 release?
