Yesterday brought an onslaught of new smartphones our way, and most were high-powered devices. The Intex Aqua Ace can’t quite run with the big boys, but the company has surprised many of us by kicking the specs up to another level.
Intex has produced more smartphones than you can shake a stick at, but most fall in the entry level or mid-range. Occasionally, we’ll see something with a bit more pop and that’s what we’re getting with new handset from Intex. The Intex Aqua Ace is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 clocked at 1.3GHz, which may not sound that grand until you factor in the 3GB of RAM backing it up.
The Intex Aqua Ace is the company’s first handset with 3GB of RAM, and the rest of the specs are solid as well. The internal storage is listed at 16GB, but expandable up to 128GB while the camera combo clocks in at 13MP/5MP. Other options to note include a 5-inch 720p display, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and 4G LTE. The dual-SIM Intex Aqua Ace is powered by a 2,300mAh battery and runs Android 5.1 straight out of the box.
As you can tell from the Intex Aqua Ace specs, it’s not the company’s typical handset. Thankfully, the company has kept things affordable for folks in the region, so you’ll only need to shell out Rs. 12,999 if you’re interested in the Intex Aqua Ace.
