Slates with voice-calling capabilities are nothing new, and we’ve seen several arrive in India over the past few years. The Swipe Ace Strike is one of the latest tablets to hit the region, and it has an affordable price tag of Rs. 6,999.
The last time we took a look at a product from Swipe, it was the Swipe Elite back in July. The Swipe Ace Strike tablet is a medium-sized slate that’s just been announced for the country with voice-calling capabilities being one of its main features. For the price, you might expect a bland little slate but we think you’ll be rather surprised by the specs.
The Swipe Ace Strike tablet sports a 6.98-inch display with a resolution of 1,024 x 600. The power will come from a 64-bit quad-core chip clocked at 1.3GHz backed by 2GB of RAM and there’s 16GB of internal storage to boot. There is also a microSD card slot, so you won’t have to turn to the cloud right away.
Cameras have never been a strong point on tablets, but the Swipe Ace Strike tablet puts a 5MP snapper on the back and a 2MP sensor on the front. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and 4G LTE with voice calling. The Dual-SIM tablet will sip its power from a 4,000mAh battery and is listed as running Android 5.1 out of the box.
The Swipe Ace Strike specs show it’s a good deal for the price and you’re getting some nice features as well. The slate tablet is available as a Snapdeal exclusive for Rs. 6,999 and is available in Ivory White or Champagne Gold.
