Intex supplies a steady stream of smartphones to the market in India and another new handset has just launched. The Intex Aqua Life III has a budget price and comes on the heels of the Intex Cloud Swift that was introduced last week. Read on for details of the Aqua Life III specifications, price and more.

The affordable Intex Aqua Life III has a price tag of just Rs. 5,199 and now appears on the company’s website. It follows on from the Aqua Life and Aqua Life II, and is a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) handset. Aqua Life III specs include a 1.2GHz Spreadtrum quad-core processor, a 5-inch IPS display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage (expandable to 32GB with microSD).

Further specs include a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing snapper. Camera features include burst shot, smile shot, low light enhancement, face recognition, scene detection, geo tagging, Panorama, and HDR. Connectivity is catered for with 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPRS/EDGE, and microUSB.

The phone has a 2000 mAh battery said to last for up to 300 hours on standby or up to 10 hours or talk time. The Intex Aqua Life III runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and comes in Black, Champagne, Grey, or White colour choices with a metal brush finish. Its dimensions are 145mm x 73.2mm x 8.9mm and it weighs 157g.
