Whenever new iPhones release we have many readers asking about waterproof cases. Catalyst is a manufacturer for this kind of accessory, and has produced these cases for several previous iPhone versions. The iPhone 6S waterproof cases from Catalyst are not available just yet but you can now sign up so that you’ll know when they go on sale. This also applies to to the cases for the iPhone 6S Plus of course.

Catalyst and Lifeproof are both well known waterproof case makers and we’ve already given details of the upcoming iPhone 6S and 6S Plus waterproof cases from Lifeproof. Last year it took some time for these cases to arrive, and like the cases from Catalyst none are available just yet. Just one of the Lifeproof cases for the iPhone 6S can be pre-ordered at the moment for example.

We’ve been waiting for news on the iPhone 6S waterproof cases from Catalyst and the company is now featuring them on its website. The Catalyst online page doesn’t give any details about the actual cases or prices just yet, but simply says, “iPhone 6S /6S Plus cases available soon.” However, there is an option to sign up to be notified when they become available. If you can’t see the iPhone 6S, 6S Plus feature straight away, simply scroll through the images at the top of the page and you’ll find it.

These cases are likely to be similar to the Catalyst iPhone 6 and 6 Plus all-weather cases that offer protection and have IP68 certification so that they are waterproof to 5m. The cases also provide shock and drop protection to military standard 801G, and still offer full access to functionality. They are made of premium materials with impact-resistant polycarbonate, soft-touch rubber bumper, silicone seals, and air and water-tight acoustic membranes.

Prices for last year’s iPhone 6 and 6 Plus waterproof cases from Catalyst are $69.99 and $74.99 respectively. Therefore as a guideline we’d expect the prices of the Catalyst iPhone 6S waterproof cases to be similar or a little higher, although we cannot confirm that at this point.
