Elephone has a series of smartphones set to debut this month, and you can now add one more to that list. The Elephone Ivory specifications and price have been revealed ahead of an official launch, and it’s going to be an option if you need LTE on a budget.
Yesterday Elephone teased the Elephone ECOO E06, but today brings us a different kind of device geared towards the budget crowd. Thankfully the company didn’t skimp on the specs, so while you won’t find flagships features like a fingerprint or iris scanning, it will get the job done and let you browse the web with 4G LTE.
The Elephone Ivory is set to be a 5-inch smartphone with a resolution of 1,280 x 720, and it features the 2.5D look that’s become extremely popular this year in the Far East. The chip providing the power is listed as an octa-core MediaTek MT6753, which means we should be looking at 2GB of RAM. That said, the RAM, storage capacity and cameras are up in the air at the moment as is the battery although it’s safe to say it should rock Android 5.0 or better out of the box.
At the moment, there are plenty of questions surrounding the Elephone Ivory release, but the smartphone is off to a good start with an HD display, octa-core processor, and 4G LTE. The Elephone Ivory release date is set towards the end of November, so we should find out more about the upcoming smartphone soon.
