Details of upcoming Vibe X3 from Lenovo have been slowly trickling out for some time, and last week we informed readers that the phone would be launched on November 16. That day is finally here, and the Lenovo Vibe X3 price has been announced for three different variants. Of course we also have official news on the specs of this new smartphone.

After varying leaks on specifications it’s good to finally have confirmed details for the Lenovo Vibe X3. Specs include a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor and a 5.5-inch InCell display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 featuring Gorilla Glass 3. It has a 21-megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash and 4K video capture, and up front there’s an 8-megapixel front-facing shooter.

Further Lenovo X3 specs include a 3600 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support, and connectivity is covered with 4G with VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, 4.0, GPS, NFC and microUSB. It runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with Lenovo’s Vibe UI. The phone has dual Hi-Fi speakers and features Dolby Atmos surround sound. It also has a CirrusLogic WM8281 chip for Hi-Fi. Another feature for the Vibe X3 is a fingerprint sensor on the reverse of the handset, and there’s an IR Blaster for mobile remote control of your TVs etc.

The Lenovo Vibe X3 is a dual SIM with dual standby phone, and has a metallic frame with a plastic rear. While the above specs are the same for all three models, there are different storage variants. The base model has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There’s also a model with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage. Top of the crop is a model with 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, VR headset, and Hi-Fi headphones.

The phone was launched today in China although there’s no news yet on availability for other markets. The lower 2GB RAM Lenovo Vibe X3 price is CNY 1899 (equivalent to around $298, £196, €277, or Rs. 19,670). The middle model with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage is priced at CNY 2499 (around $392, £258, €365, or Rs. 25,900). Finally the top end model with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage has a price tag of CNY 2999 (around $470, £309, €438, or Rs. 31,000.
