The Smartisan T2 is another smartphone from a Chinese manufacturer that has been making the rounds over the past few months. Details were murky, but some information has come to light on the Smartisan T2 specs, and we’re here to give you the scoop.
Smartisan isn’t a brand we’ve covered often, but the upcoming Smartisan T2 is going to be worth a look if you dig affordable Chinese tech. Photos of the new device show an interesting look with 4th generation Gorilla Glass on the front along with those popular 2.5D curved edges. The back will be covered in glass as well, but no Smartisan T2 photos have surfaced showing the handset from that angle.
The Smartisan T2 specs are rumored to include a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080. It will get its power from a 64-bit Snapdragon 808 along with 3GB of RAM, and while we don’t know the storage capacity, it will have a 13MP/5MP camera combo. A Type-C USB charging port, and Android 5.1 round out what we know on the Smartisan T2. In addition to the regular model, the Smartisan T2 Pro is said to come with a Snapdragon 820 and a fingerprint scanner.
While it’s nice to get some slick pics of the Smartisan T2, the handset is still in the rumor mill for the moment so take those specs with a dose of salt. The Smartisan T2 release date is up in the air, but the price is expected to fall in the 3,000 Yuan range whenever it arrives.
