Major smartphone releases have finally wound down for the year, but there are plenty of low-end devices still trickling out. Intex has announced a new one, and it’s set to be the cheapest Lollipop handset you can buy in India.

The Intex Cloud Cube has shown up online with specs that won’t impress but a very nice price. The smartphone will feature a small 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 854 x 480 and is powered by a quad-core SC7731 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. You’ll get a meager 512MB of RAM to work with as well while the storage capacity is listed at 8GB but expandable up to 32GB through the usual means.

Budget may be the first word that comes to mind with the Intex Cloud Cube, but it still has a couple of snappers with a 2MP rear camera and 0.3MP front-facing sensor. In the connectivity department, the handset has Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, and 3G. The smartphone measures 135mm x 66mm x 9.5mm with a weight of 145grams and is powered by a 2,000mAh battery. As mentioned, you’ll get Android 5.1 out of the box which is nice once you factor in the Intex Cloud Cube price.

On paper, the Intex Cloud Cube specs aren’t going to stand out but the price for the handset in the region is listed at Rs. 4,250. The Intex Cloud Cube will be available in White or Grey if you’re looking to pick one up.
