Huawei Enjoy 5S is finally official and priced at $172
As promised, Huawei has finally pulled the curtain back in the Huawei Enjoy 5S today. While we’ve spent plenty of time covering the device, now that it’s official we’re back to give you the scoop on the Huawei Enjoy 5S specs and price.
If you’re trying to get consumers attention, you can do it with a device’s design, horsepower or with software. If you can combine all three and slap a nice price tag on it, you generally have a winner and that’s what it appears we’re getting with the Huawei Enjoy 5S.
For all intents and purposes, the Huawei Enjoy 5S is a mid-ranger but it’s going to be one of the better handsets on the market. The device sports a 5-inch display with a 720p panel, and beneath the glass you’ll find an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 chip clocked at 1.5GHz and backed by 2GB of RAM. The storage capacity is listed at 16GB but expandable up to 128GB through the usual means.
On the backside of the Huawei Enjoy 5S, you’ll find a solid 13MP sensor while the front-facing camera clocks in at 5MP. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and the usual suspects along with 4G LTE and a fingerprint scanner. A large 3,000mAh battery will help keep the lights on and the handset will run Android 5.1 straight out of the box.
If you reside in China, the Huawei Enjoy 5S is ready to roll with a price tag of 1099 Yuan which shakes out to around $172-$188 depending on which carrier you choose. There’s been no word on an international release, but we’ll keep you in the loop if that changes.
