The tablet comes with easy-to-use parental controls for protecting the safety of your child when they’re online. With the smart web filter for example, you can ensure only appropriate sites are accessible determined by the age of your child. This also enables parents to add or remove website access as required. Parents can also set time limits for how long their kids can use the tablet every day, and app management is another feature.
The Robin comes pre-loaded with plenty of app content for children, in fact more than 40 apps. These range from educational apps such as Age of Explorer to fun games such as Fruit Ninja. Kids also have unlimited access to shows such as Thomas and Friends, Postman Pat, and more with a Hopster subscription that comes with the tablet (3 months free or 24 months free when taken on an extra plan). The tablet also has a kid proof bumper to safeguard the device against the usual drops and knocks.
If you want to buy the EE Robin tablet on a 2GB pay as you go plan, the upfront price is £129.99. EE is currently throwing in a Christmas offer of 500MB of free data every month for a year with this option. Alternatively you can buy the EE Robin on a monthly plan with an upfront cost of £29.99.
