iPad Pro India release date imminent, prices begin at Rs. 67,990
If you’re an Apple fan living in India, you generally have to wait a little longer than most of their new products to arrive. That’s not the case with the iPad Pro India release though as the large slate is almost ready to roll for consumers in the region.
Apple has yet to make an official announcement on the iPad Pro India release date, but the pricing has just leaked online ahead of its release. As you’d expect, the slate is not going to be cheap as the prices begin at Rs. 67,900 and run all the way up to Rs. 91,900 if the leak is legit. While their newest high-end iPad may be expensive, you will get a lot of bang for your buck.
The iPad Pro is Apple’s top-tier tablet, and it sports a large 12.9-inch panel with a blistering resolution of 2,732 x 2,048. Under that slab of glass, you’ll find a new A9X 2.26GHz processor, 4GB of RAM and your choice of 32GB or 128GB of internal storage. There’s no microSD card slot, but it’s Apple so that should come as no surprise. In terms of size, the slate measures 305.7mm x 220.6mm x 6.9mm and has a weight of 713grams for the Wi-Fi model and 728grams for the LTE version.
Media and multitasking may be the main draw of the iPad Pro, but it does sport a couple of cameras like the rest of the crowd. The backside features an 8MP snapper while the front-facing camera is listed at 1.2MP. The usual connectivity options are present as well along with a fingerprint sensor NFC, and A-GPS. The iPad Pro will sip its juice from a 10,307mAh battery and is ready to run the new iOS 9.2 update.
The iPad Pro India release should arrive at any time, but the Apple Pencil and their Smart Keyboard may not launch alongside the new slate. Retailers are expected to have the tablet in stock this week with the 32GB Wi-Fi version priced at Rs. 67,900 and the 128GB Wi-Fi model going for Rs. 78,900. If you want the bell of the ball, the Cellular iPad Pro with 128GB of storage will set you back a whopping Rs. 91,900.
Are you glad to see the iPad Pro India release arrive before the end of the year?
