The HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM is one of several handsets set to debut in India before the year comes to a close, and if you’re looking to snag the handset, the wait is almost over. The Dual SIM version of the 828 is about ready to roll, but you’ll have to go through Flipkart.
Flipkart has landed another exclusive release for India with the HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM, and while it’s not in the flagship class, it has plenty of pop and is pretty stylish to boot. That said, it’s not exactly cheap compared to similar handsets in the region from smaller manufacturers, so let’s take a look at what the HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM has to offer.
The HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM is a phablet-sized smartphone with a 5.5-inch display carrying a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080. The chip powering the show is listed as an octa-core MediaTek MT6753, which is backed by 2GB of RAM. You’ll get 16GB of internal storage to work with as well, but thankfully it’s expandable through the usual means.
On the backside of the HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM, you’ll find a solid 13MP snapper with OIS and an LED flash. The front-facing camera is an Ultrapixel sensor with a 26.8mm lens. The overall dimensions of the handset are 157.7mm x 78.9mm x 7.9mm and it has a weight of 148grams, so it’s about average in terms of its size. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Dual SIM, and 4G LTE. A 2,800mAh battery will help keep the lights on and the HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM will run Android 5.1 when it arrives.
The HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM is solid under the hood, and will be available in White or Gray from Flipkart beginning on December 14th. The smartphone is priced at Rs. 19,990, which shakes out to around $300 in the states.
