The Lenovo Vibe S1 smartphone released last month and one of its highlights is a dual front-facing camera system. However, battery life is an increasingly important factor for many of us purchasing a new handset, so it’s a good idea to check this out before you buy. Today we’re looking at the Lenovo Vibe S1 battery life vs. K3 Note, Coolpad Note 3 and more.

For today we’re concerned solely with the battery life performance of the device and in this regard the handset is equipped with a 2500 mAh battery (Typical) /2420 mAh (minimum). By comparison the Lenovo K3 Note and Coolpad Note 3 are both juiced by a 3000 mAh battery.
The Lenovo Vibe S1 has just been put through its paces in comprehensive battery testing by Fone Arena. This concerned four main categories, Talk Time, 3G Browsing, WiFi Browsing, and Video Playback. The results attained by the phone were then placed on charts with the results from several other popular smartphones for comparison. These include the Lenovo K3 Note and Coolpad Note 3, and just a few of the others are the Samsung Galaxy J7, Moto G (3rd gen), Samsung Galaxy On7, and Yu Yureka Plus.
In the Talk Time category the Vibe S1 managed a time of 12 hours and 30 minutes, and sadly that placed it at the very bottom of the chart (see image below) The Meizu M2 Note and Samsung Galaxy J7 were in joint first place with times of 33 hours and 19 minutes, while the K3 Note was just behind with 25 hours exactly. In next position was the Coolpad Note 3 with 16 hours and 40 minutes.
For 3G Browsing the Vibe S1 attained a time of 4 hours and 20 minutes putting it in the middle of the table in fifth position. This time the Sony Xperia C5 Ultra Dual was in top spot with a time of 6 hours and 39 minutes and the Coolpad Note 3 was in second place on 5 hours and 53 minutes. The Lenovo K3 Note was at the bottom on 3 hours and 42 minutes.
The next category was WiFi Browsing and the Lenovo Vibe S1 was just below the middle this time on 5 hours and 53 minutes. Samsung’s Galaxy J7 and Galaxy On7 were in equal first place on 8 hours and 20 minutes, with the Coolpad Note 3 next in line on 7 hours and 41 minutes. The Lenovo K3 Note was just below the Vibe S1 with a time of 5 hours and 33 minutes.
Finally we get to the Video Playback testing. The Lenovo Vibe S1 was just below the middle of the pack again on 9 hours and 5 minutes (image below). Top place was taken equally by three phones, the Galaxy J7, Galaxy On7, and Coolpad Note 3, all on 12 hours and 30 minutes. The K3 Note was lower than the Vibe S1 again, this time on 8 hours and 19 minutes.
In summary the Lenovo Vibe S1 battery life did not perform at all well for talk time, and overall the battery performance was rather average.
