A new Xiaomi phone launch has just taken place and we now have the confirmed specs and Redmi Note Prime price for this Made In India smartphone. It has affordable pricing and if you’re wondering when you can get hold of it there’s good news. It will be on sale from tomorrow at Amazon India or Mi.com from 10am.
The handset is in a white color and the Redmi Note Prime price is Rs. 8,499. So what specifications will you get for that money? We can tell you that it has a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core processor, Adreno 306 graphics, and a 5.5-inch IPS display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720 and 178-degree viewing angle. It has 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD to 32GB.
Further specs of the Redmi Note Prime are a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash, and 1080p video capture, and up front there’s a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper. Connectivity is catered for with 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The dual SIM handset has a removable 3100 mAh battery.
This new Xiaomi Redmi phone runs the Android 4.4 KitKat-based MIUI v7. The handset measures 154mm x 78.7mm x 9.45mm and it weighs 185g. Xiaomi’s India Head, Manu Jain, said of the launch,
