Alcatel isn’t as popular as Samsung or Apple in the US, but they’ve produced several handsets that have caught our eye this year. The Alcatel One Touch Fierce XL was one of them, and it’s gearing up to land at T-Mobile in the very near future.
The Alcatel One Touch Fierce XL first appeared on our radar back in October, and a new report suggests it will soon hit the streets. The handset is said to land at T-Mobile, which is a big deal if you’re a customer on Magenta looking for a handset running Windows 10. While we don’t have a firm release date yet, we do have a full rundown of the Alcatel One Touch Fierce XL specs.
The first word to come to mind with the Alcatel One Touch Fierce XL is mid-ranger, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. The phablet-sized device has a 5.5-inch 720p display and will get its horsepower from a Snapdragon 210 and 2GB of RAM. You’ll get 16GB of internal storage out of the box, and it’s expandable through a microSD card slot. As for the cameras, an 8MP camera resides on the back while a 2MP takes care of the selfies. Wi-Fi Calling 2.0, VoLTE, a 2,500mAh battery and Windows 10 round things out for the Alcatel One Touch Fierce XL.
We may not know when the Alcatel One Touch Fierce XL will be available to purchase through T-Mobile in the states but it is expected to come in at under $100. It’s expected to be shown off at CES 2016 as well, so we should learn more about their plans for the handset then.
