Lenovo ThinkPad X1 price for tablet and modular attachments
News is already arriving from the 2016 CES event in Las Vegas, and Lenovo has officially revealed its ThinkPad X1 modular tablet. This is an interesting device and we have much more detail coming right up, including the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 price for the tablet and the modular attachments.
The modular idea behind this device means that users can add various optional modules, a Productivity Module, Presenter Module, and 3D Imaging Module. The presenter module has a pico projector with HDMI port, while the productivity module offers an extra 5 hours of battery life, with full size HDMI port, full size USB 3.0, and OneLink+ docking connector. The 3D imaging module brings an Intel RealSense R200 3D camera for 3D scanning.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 comes with a kickstand, while the ThinkPad keyboard includes trackpoint and has three typing angles on offer. The tablet weighs 790g or with the keyboard weighs 1kg. Features include active stylus support and palm rejection logic. Specifications of the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 include an Intel Core m7 processor with vPro (6th gen), and a 12-inch display with resolution of 2160 x 1440.
Further specs include up to 16GB RAM, up to 1TB NVMe SSD storage, optional 4G LTE-A support, WiFi, and Bluetooth. It has a rear camera with LED flash and an HD front-facing camera. The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 tablet and the Productivity Module will release in February. The Projector Module and 3D Imaging Module will be available from May.
Now to pricing, and the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 price for the tablet alone is $899. The Productivity Module is priced at $149 and the Projector Module has a price of $279.
