iPhone 7 2016 stainless steel design features water resistance
Although the iPhone 7 is unlikely to release before fall, concept ideas have been in abundance already. We’ve already seen some interesting ideas, and this new iPhone 7 2016 design brings a stainless steel build as well as water resistance. The designer has also provided some specs and features to go with this concept.
Leaks about the iPhone 7 are ramping up, and recently we’ve reported on battery and storage news as well as a possible leaked component. It will be some months before we see anything official about the device, but we can expect an iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. There have also been numerous rumors about a new smaller 4-inch iPhone dubbed the iPhone 6C or iPhone 7C.
While we wait for something more concrete about the new iPhone, designers are giving us their own ideas for how the device could or should look. This latest concept vision for the iPhone 7 2016 comes from designer Arthur Reis. This is a polished and premium looking handset with some slight curvature on the reverse, and the look of the phone might remind some readers of the iPod touch 4
This iPhone 7 has a stainless steel alloy build, and although it’s a slimmer handset it’s also stronger and resistant to impact and scratches. The bezels on the front are also slimmer so the overall size of the handset can be reduced while keeping the same size for the display, therefore making it easier to hold.
Rather than the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch sizes of the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, this iPhone 7 2016 has a 4.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD resolution utilizing Sapphire glass. There’s no larger model, but there is a 4-inch version of the phone with display resolution of 1334 x 750. The designer also imagines this device to have a 4x faster processor and graphics.
Other inclusions are improvements for 3G Touch, and the Home button now supports Force Touch. Other touches for this iPhone 7 2016 design include 50% louder speakers and the handset is also water resistant. We’ve shown a few of the designer’s images of the phone here, and you can get a further look in the video that we’ve positioned below this story.
There’s no doubt this concept iPhone 7 2016 design is a glossy looking handset, and it would be good to know if you’d like to see the next iPhone look like this? Would you like any of the ideas for this design incorporated into the real McCoy?
