They released in China first and we knew they would also arrive for further markets. Now we have details of the Samsung Galaxy A5 and A7 2016 prices from the India launch of the smartphones.
There will be plenty of people happy to see the launch of the Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 2nd gen smartphones in India, given the popularity of the original versions and the premium metal and glass builds. They both have improved cameras and are available in Black, Gold, and White colors. Availability is from Snapdeal from February 15 and also from retail stores. Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 specs include a 1.6GHz octa-core processor, 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD resolution, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded with microSD card to 128GB. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization, a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter, and a 2900 mAh battery. The dual SIM handset measures 144.8mm x 71mm x 7.3mm and it weighs 155g. Connectivity is covered with 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, USB 2.0 and more. The Galaxy A5 2nd gen price is Rs. 29,400.
Meanwhile the Samsung Galaxy A7 2016 is also powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core CPU, but it has a larger 5.5-inch Full HD display. It has 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (again expandable to 128GB. It has a 13-megapixel rear cmarea with OIS and f/1.9 aperture, and also a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture. This is also a dual SIM phone and it measures 151.5mm x 74.1mm x 7.3mm and weighs in at 172g. It has a higher capacity 3300 mAh battery and the same connectivity options as the smaller A5. The price of the Galaxy A7 (2016) is Rs. 33,400.
