The Meizu MX6 has appeared on our radars a couple of times since last year, but details have been vague for the most part. Today we may have gotten our first real look at the Meizu MX6 specs, and if true, it’s going to be a handset to contend with.
We think got a quick glimpse of the Meizu MX6 last week when a device carrying the model number M681Q appeared. Well, it’s popped up again in a new listing that shows the bands for the Chinese market, so we know it’s going to roll out with 4G LTE across the board for networks in that region. That’s just the tip of the iceberg though as the Meizu MX6 specs have gotten a little better since the last leak…
According to the latest rumors, the Meizu MX6 will be a thin bezeled device with a speedy MediaTek Helio X20 processor and 4GB of RAM. Even though the display is still unknown, that puts it squarely in the flagship class as does the rumored 20.7MP rear camera and 8MP front-facing snapper. A large 4,000mAh battery is said to power the device, but that’s about all we know at the moment.
Previous rumors pointed towards an FHD panel on the Meizu MX6, which would be a bit of a disappointment given the rest of the rumored specs. That said, the battery life would significantly increase if they use the lower-pixel panel, so the tradeoff may be worth it for most. The Meizu MX6 release date is still unknown, but it’s expected to cost around 1,799 Yuan or $276 whenever it arrives.
