It was only in December last year that we reported on the arrival of the Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 for India. Now just a few months later we can tell you about the Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 2nd gen price variants for the India launch, with details of specifications and more. This new affordable smartphone has plenty in common with its predecessor but has a few specs upgrades.
Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 2nd gen (ZB452KG) specs include a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor and Adreno 302 graphics. There’s a 4.5-inch display with resolution of 854 x 480, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a microSD card to 64GB. The smartphone is juiced by a removable 2070mAh battery, and connectivity is catered for with 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
The second-generation Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with the company’s Zen UI 2.0. It’s a dual SIM device measuring 136.5mm x 67mm x 11mm and weighing in at 125g. Interestingly there are two versions of the new Zenfone Go 4.5. One has an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The other has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a VGA front-facing snapper.
The Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 2nd gen price is Rs. 5,299 if you want the lower variant, or Rs. 5,699 if you want the model with the 8MP/2MP camera combo. The phone will be sold at various offline stores, Asus exclusive stores, and retailers such as Flipkart, Snapdeal, Shopclues, Paytm, and Amazon. It’s offered in Silver Blue, Gold, Silver, Glamour Red, Yellow, and Ceramic White colors. Asus India’s Peter Chang said of the launch,
“The Zenfone Go 4.5 2nd generation embodies the ASUS spirit of providing luxury at an affordable price. A perfect accompaniment for those who seek to empower their lives, the smartphone packs in high-end specifications in an aesthetically appeasing design.
