Oukitel is a brand that many readers may not be familiar with but we like to cover both well known and less well known manufacturers. The company has recently produced its most affordable smartphone to date and we have news about the pre-sale period. The Oukitel C3 pre-orders are now open and there’s information about the price and specs coming right up.

The Oukitel C3 can be pre-ordered through Tomtop.com from May 5 through May 15, and there are some excellent offers available during this time. Between today and May 7 there’s a special Oukitel C3 price of just $39.99 although that pricing only applies to 100 units so you’ll have to be quick. Buyers can also pre-order the device between today and May 15 at $49.99 and for this price you’ll also get a free silicon case. Alternatively a pre-order payment of $54.99 will get you the phone, the case, and tempered glass.

The device will begin shipping from May 15. Oukitel C3 specifications include a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor, and a 5-inch screen with HD resolution of 1280 x 720. There’s 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD to 32GB), and a 2000 mAh battery. The phone has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 1.3-megapixel front-facing unit, and it runs the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.

It’s a dual SIM dual standby device with connectivity options that include 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The handset has a 3D diamond-inspired design on the reverse, and the color choices for the Oukitel C3 smartphone are Black, Blue, Dark Blue, Rose Gold, and White. It measures 14.2cm x 7.13cm x 0.88cm and weighs 157g. Features include ‘double tap to unlock’ and ‘float gesture.’
