Lenovo Vibe C hits India with 4G and Snapdragon 210
Features, price or specifications. That is a questions many consumers will find themselves asking this year as new batches of smartphones roll out. The Lenovo Vibe C may not check off many boxes in the specs department, but may still be an option for folks on a budget that need 4G connectivity.
The Lenovo Vibe C first crossed our radar a few weeks back when a version of the handset appeared for sale in Croatia. The budget-friendly device will apparently see a wider release as India will get the handset as well. Whether or not you’ll actually be interested in the device depends on your needs, as the Lenovo Vibe C is far from the fastest handset around.
The Lenovo Vibe C is on the small side of things thanks to a 5-inch display and overall measurements of 136.1mm x 67.8mm x 9.9mm. That panel carries a resolution of 854 x 480, and beneath it you will find a quad-core Snapdragon 210 and 1GB of RAM. The storage on the model for India is listed at 16GB, and you’ll be able to expand thanks to a microSD card slot. Other features to note include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, 4G LTE, and a 5MP/2MP camera combo. The handset will sip its power from a 2,300mAh battery and runs Android 5.1 out of the box.
If the Lenovo Vibe C looks like your cup of tea, you’ll be able to snag one in Black or White if you live in the region. The device currently carries a price tag of Rs. 6,999, which is a little over $100 in the states.
Do you think the Lenovo Vibe C is a good value for what it brings to the table?
