Stamina Mode is back at last in the Xperia Z5 family, after it mysteriously disappeared when Android rolled their latest 6.0 Marshmallow update. Today we have a new software update (a firmware update actually), under the build number aka proud name of 32.2.A.0.224; this baby is essentially what brings Stamina Mode back to life, a super-clever gimmick that will turn your Xperia Z5 smartphone immortal, or close. The new firmware update is rolling as we speak and it will be available for Sony Xperia Z5, the Xperia Z5 Dual, and lastly, the Sony Xperia Z5 Compact. Rest assured if you’re the owner of an Xperia Z5 Premium, you’ll get an update as soon as possible, just not these days. As the good book reads, So the last will be first, and the first will be last. Basically, the 32.2.A.0.224 firmware update will make your Xperia Z5 to run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow but, more importantly, it will bring back Stamina Mode.
For those of you wondering what’s up with the Stamina Mode, well, this application is the definition of long battery life,  being that magic piece of software that turns your power-hungry droid into a low consumption device, just like a bulimic super-model visiting a Carl’s Jr. restaurant with her future billionaire husband. Here’s a screen-shot with the new Stamina Mode settings, and rest assured, even if you can’t see the update as being available just yet for your precious droid, keep calm and carry on refreshing, don’t dial 911, because it will definitely take for a few days for the update to reach all the Xperia X5 smartphones  roaming free out there in the wild, as Sony sells its Xperias in over 130 countries all around the world. According to my secret sources, the 32.2.A.0.224 firmware update is confirmed already in countries like Singapore, Turkey, Thailand and Australia and it’s available using the Xperia Companion.
