Nubia Z11 Max specifications and price are official

ZTE Nubia Z11 Max

Earlier today we told you about the ZTE Blade A2, and now we are back with something a bit more impressive. The Nubia Z11 Max is now official, and it is definitely a handset to keep an eye on if you feel phablets are a bit small.

ZTE launched the Nubia Z11 Mini earlier this year, and whenever we see a handset with that moniker, there is a good chance a super-sized version will follow. We got a quick peek at the rumored ZTE Nubia Z11 Max specifications not long ago, but now that it’s official, we can finally compare those rumors with the real deal. Thankfully, we’re pleased to say things have lined up quite nicely…

As the name implies, the Nubia Z11 Max will be larger than your typical phablet as it sports a massive 6-inch Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080. Despite its size, it will be slim at 7.4mm thick and it only weighs 185grams. The handset clearly has a lot of class as you can see from the photos, and it features the popular 2.5D glass stylings to boot.

Under the hood of the ZTE Nubia Z11 Max, you will find a speedy Snapdragon 652, which is backed by 4GB of RAM. That will certainly get the job done, there is 64GB of internal storage as well so you won’t need to turn to the cloud straight away. In the camera department, the Z11 Max makes use of an 8MP snapper of selfies while the backside has a large 16MP sensor with a Dual LED flash.

In addition to the ZTE Nubia Z11 Max specifications we’ve already mentioned, the company decided to throw in a few extra features. The handset will have a Type-C USB port with quick charging, and the audio setup is said to be solid thanks to Hi-Fi headset support and optimized dual speakers. A large 4,000mAh battery will push the pixels around on the smartphone’s massive panel, and it will run Nubia 3.9.9 which is based on Android 5.1.

The Nubia Z11 Max is going to make its debut in China where it will be released on June 16th. The handset currently carries a price tag of 1999 Yuan, which shakes out to around $304, €267 or Rs. 20,210 depending on where you reside.
