It’s been a long while since we took a look at a Notion Ink device, but one caught our interest today. The Notion Ink Able 10 is soon bound for India, and when it lands in the region, it will be a Snapdeal exclusive with a hefty price tag of Rs. 24,990.
We tend to cover a lot of brands that aren’t well-known in some corners of the globe, and Notion Ink is one of them. The last time we covered the brand was back in 2014 when the Notion Ink Cain 8 rolled out for India. Well, tech has changed considerably over the past few years, and the company’s latest slate is a bit more high powered than the previous one. The Notion Ink Able 10 has quite a bit of power, and could be an option for consumers looking for a 2-in-1 slate in the region.
As the name implies, the Notion Ink Able 10 has a large 10.1-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1,280 x 800. The horsepower comes from a quad-core Cherry Trail X5-Z8300 and 4GB of RAM, while the storage is listed at 64GB and expandable as well. Needless to say, it will get the job done with the only weak point being the lackluster display.
Most slates or convertibles are a bit weak in the camera department, and the Notion Ink Able 10 is no different. It only has 2MP sensors on the back and front but does have a full array of connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3G SIM slot, and two USB ports. It will run Windows 10 with Continuum out of the box, and is powered by a 8,100mAh battery.
The Notion Ink Able 10 is powerful, but that comes at a price as it’s listed at Rs. 29,990 or around $444 bucks in the region while the “Enterprise” edition is Rs. 29,990. If you’re interested in the convertible slate, it will be available as a Snapdeal exclusive in Metallic Black.
