You never know where a smartphone is going to launch these days. After spending a considerable amount of time in the rumor mill, the Lenovo Vibe C2 is official and headed to consumers residing in Russia.
The Russian branch of Lenovo has posted the upcoming Lenovo Vibe C2 online. It is not the Moto E, so we can finally put that rumor to rest. That being said… the new smartphone falls into the entry-level class, so it may be a good one if you are a fan of the E series or in need of a cheap, but good looking handset.
According to the official site, the Lenovo Vibe C2 will arrive with a 5-inch display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720. The processor is listed as a MT6735P, which is a quad-core chip clocked at 1GHz. Other internals include 1GB of RAM and your choice of 8GB of storage or 16GB, depending on how much you want to spend. Either way you decide to go, you will get expansion though a microSD card slot.
There are some minor details that are still unknown for the Lenovo Vibe C2, but we do know it will be solid in the camera department (for its class) with an 8MP rear camera and 5MP selfie snapper. It also features Waves MaxxAudio and an amp, which is said to improve the sound quality. Other things to note include 4G LTE, a removable 2,750mAh battery, Dual SIM slots, and Android 6.0.1.
At this time, there has been no word on the Lenovo Vibe C2 price. One would assume it will see a wider release as well given Lenovo’s global reach, so we’ll keep you in the loop on this one.
