TENAA has been rather active lately, and there are a number of new devices that have cleared certification in the region over the past few weeks. The Meizu M681M is one of them, and we’re here to give you the skinny on what lies under its hood.
One reason we love TENAA listings is the fact that they offer up a ton of information on unannounced smartphones. The Meizu M681M is no exception to the rule as we know the device is in the phablet range with measurements of 153.6mm x 75.6mm x 8.3mm and has a weight of 166grams. The display is listed at 5.5-inches and is of the TFT variety with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080.
While the Meizu M681M doesn’t have a QHD panel, it appears to have plenty of pop with an octa-core 1.8GHz chip of unknown origins and your choice of 2GB or 3GB of RAM. That depends on how much storage you want as the 2GB variant comes with 16GB, while the 3GB model is listed at 32GB. Both have expansion through a microSD card slot as well. Other features to note include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 4G LTE, and Dual SIM slots. A 4,000mAh battery will keep the lights on while the OS is listed as the outdated Android 5.1.
The Meizu M681M just passed through TENAA a few days back, so there is little to no information on the handset at this time aside from the listing. That means this one could turn out to be almost anything, and we have no idea on its price or if it will get a wide release upon launch. That said, the big battery coupled with solid specs will make it an option for some folks if the price is right.
