It’s going to be a very busy next week. Samsung is set to unveil its new flagship, but they aren’t the only company with a new smartphone rolling out. The Oppo F1s will debut a day later, and today we’ve come across a new leak involving the Oppo F1s specifications.
A few weeks back, we got a solid teaser that told us the Oppo F1s was on the way. It’s built to be the ultimate phone for selfie lovers, and in true Oppo fashion, they have done something interesting in the camera department. The snapper doesn’t swivel on this one, but it’s hard to beat a 16MP front-facing camera if selfies are your thing.
The previous leak also tipped its hand to the Oppo F1s having a fingerprint scanner, but that’s all we knew at the time. According to a new rumor, the handset will sport a 5.5-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 and is powered by a MediaTek MT6750 processor and 3GB of RAM. The rear camera matches the one on the front at 16MP and the storage is listed at 32GB.
Oppo is known for making sleek handsets, and the Oppo F1s will fit right in with measurements of 154.5mm x 76mm x 7.38mm and weighs 160grams. Given the rest of the specs, the battery life should be solid as well with a 3,075mAh battery. One would assume all the usual boxes will be checked in the connectivity department and that it will run Android 5.1 like its predecessor or hopefully Android 6.0.
As it stands, the main draw for the Oppo F1s will be the large sensors and fingerprint scanner as the rest of the specs mirror the previous model in several key areas. The Oppo F1s price for India is expected to be around Rs. 19,700 with pre-orders firing up on August 4th a day after it is officially announced.
