HP Elite X3 release date bumped back for U.S. consumers
The HP Elite X3 has gotten folks a bit excited, but smiles are going to turn into frowns for consumers in the U.S. today. Unfortunately, the HP Elite X3 release date has been pushed back so you’ll have to wait a bit longer to get yours in the states.
The HP Elite X3 has been making the rounds since February, and quickly got folks attention due to the HP Elite X3 specifications. Consumers were excited to get a high-powered handset that could run Windows 10, and it’s pretty good looking to boot. While we learned the HP Elite X3 release date a while back, today the news isn’t so good.
Pre-orders for the HP Elite X3 kicked off a few weeks back in the states, but today the shipping date has changed. The Microsoft Store is showing that the HP Elite X3 release date will come on September 26 instead of the original date of the 12th. No word has been given for the delay although it’s far from the first time we’ve seen the smartphone get bumped back — just ask consumers in the UK.
While the news of the HP Elite X3 release being delayed for the U.S. is a bit of a downer, it’s better they make sure the phone is ready to roll and all their boxes are ticked before putting it in consumers hands. A two-week wait isn’t long, but we will keep our fingers crossed the date doesn’t change again as plenty of folks are waiting to get their hands on the HP Elite X3.
