It’s Monday, which means we are going to be awash with new smartphones from around the globe. Gionee is one of the first out of the gates, and we’ve got the scoop on the Gionee P7 Max specifications to help you make an informed decision on their new handset.
We’re not sure who coined the phrase “phablet” but they should have trademarked it. The size has been a popular way to go, and that’s what class you will find the Gionee P7 Max residing in. The smartphone sports a large 5.5-inch panel with a resolution of 1,280 x 720, and will draw its horsepower from a speedy MediaTek MT6595 processor. That’s a 2.2GHz octa-core chip, so you’ll have plenty of pop straight out of the box.
The Gionee P7 Max specifications also show the handset to have 3GB of RAM while the storage capacity is listed at 32GB. It is expandable through a microSD card slot up to 128GB. As for the rear camera, it’s listed at 13MP with an LED flash. The front-facing camera isn’t as large but will get the job done at 5MP. Connectivity options for the Gionee P7 Max include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4G VoLTE, and Dual SIM slots. A 3,1000mAh battery will keep the lights on while Android 6.0 runs the show.
If you’re interested in the Gionee P7 Max, you won’t have to wait long to pick one up. The smartphone will go on sale today for consumers in India at retail shops throughout the region. It will be available in Grey/Blue or Gold and carries a price tag of Rs. 13,999 which shakes out to around $210 in the states.
