We love a good smartphone leak, and today we have a doozy. ZTE’s latest flagship has leaked ahead of an official announcement, which means we’re back to tell you about the ZTE Axon 7 MAX specifications.
As the name implies, the ZTE Axon 7 MAX is a bit of a beast. That’s due in part to its sheer size as it sports a 6-inch panel which is where the MAX moniker comes into play. The innards aren’t quite as maxed out, but more than sufficient for most users. As for that large panel, it will have a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 if the previous rumors prove true.
Whereas the regular ZTE Axon 7 has the Snapdragon 820 under the hood, the ZTE Axon 7 MAX will roll with a Snapdragon 625. That’s a bit of a downgrade, but you will still get 4GB of RAM to go along with 64GB of internal storage space. On the back of the handset, you’ll find an interesting camera setup with a Dual 13MP sensor setup from Sony. It has a Dual Tone LED flash and you’ll get Laser Autofocus as well.
One interesting tidbit from the leaked info has to do with 3D. The company claims you will be able to watch 3D sans the glasses, which sound great but is something we’ll have to know more about before we believe it. We’ve seen similar things before, and they were less than impressive. Other features will include Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, and a USB Type-C port.
If you’re wondering about the ZTE Axon 7 MAX price, we’ll have to wait a little longer on that. The material shows it to be the equivalent of $1,500 which is definitely an error. That said, it should be clarified soon when the handset becomes official.
