The well known US based carrier, and I am talking about T-Mobile folks, just listed 2 very interesting devices on its website, the Alcatel IDOL 4S with Windows 10 VR and the ZTE Zmax Pro. I wrote an article recently about this very peculiar version of Alcatel IDOL 4S in which I explained what’s so special about this baby, i.e. that it runs on the not-so-popular Windows 10 Mobile, it comes with tops specs and there’s a free Virtual Reality headset included in the retail package.
Actually, the retail package transforms into a VR headset, but that’s another story. Now, the Alcatel IDOL 4S with Windows 10 VR not only runs WP10 OS, but it features many of the goodies available in BlackBerry’s DTEK 60 (these 2 smartphones are related, almost identical except for the design), including a top-notch Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 system on chip architecture, 4 GB of RAM,a 21 megapixels main snapper plus an 8 MP secondary, stereo speakers, Windows Continuum support and a state of the art USB Type C port. The Alcatel IDOL 4S with Windows 10 VR’s retail package includes the VR goggles but remember, for a limited time only, so go grab yours while it’s still there, alright? We don’t know yet about the price, but keep in touch.
The ZTE ZMax Pro is a very affordable phablet running on Android and it comes with a 6 inches wide display (curved glass in the front) of full HD/1080p resolution, a finger print scanner, 32 GB of native storage capacity, a 13 MP main snapper and it runs on a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 system on chip. To keep the lights on, the ZTE ZMax Pro boasts a beefy 3400 mAh battery and there’s also a micro SD card expansion slot, an FM radio on board and a 5 MP secondary camera for selfies and video calls. And speaking of good deals, this baby comes with an $180 price tag (full retail price).
