Lenovo has just unleashed a new handset for consumers in India today. The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus price in India is finally official, and it looks like Lenovo’s AR world is going to be fairly affordable to enter.
In the smartphone world, there are entry level devices, mid-rangers and of course… flagships. There are also oddballs with interesting features, which is where Lenovo Phab 2 Plus fits in. Once known as Project Tango, the smartphone has a unique sensor setup that allows for Augmented Reality. You can also pull off some of the same tricks as you can with the Ps4’s camera, which is pretty darned cool if you’re interested in AR or VR. The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus is a large smartphone with a 6.4-inch panel sporting a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080. Beneath that slab of glass, you will find an octa-core MediaTek MT8783 clocked at 1.3GHz and backed by 3GB of RAM. The storage is listed at 32GB and is expandable up to a whopping 128GB through a microSD card slot. It’s a mid-ranger although one with an extremely large display.
Despite it specs, one reason the Lenovo Phab 2 Plus price in India is high are those cameras. There is a Dual 13MP sensor setup on the back with all the usual bells & whistles including Laser AF, PDAF, and the aforementioned AR mode. The selfie-snapper clocks in at 8MP and is not nearly as fancy. Other features to note include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Dolby Atmos, and a Fingerprint scanner. The smartphone will pull its power from a 4,500mAh battery and runs Android 6.0 out of the box.
