Last year a new mid-range handset that launched in China attracted plenty of interest. Now the 6X smartphone, from Huawei subsidiary Honor, is about to officially release elsewhere. We’ve got the lowdown on the Honor 6X price for its January US, EU, and UK release.
There’s plenty of news coming from CES 2017 at the moment and Honor has taken the opportunity to plug the further arrival of the 6X smartphone. For readers in the USA there’s no news on an Honor 6X Verizon arrival yet. However, we can tell you that it will be up for grabs from HiHonor, Best Buy, Newegg, and Amazon.
The Honor 6X price is $249.99 (3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage) and it will be available from January 10 with orders from today. There’s also a chance to get one at a lower price from HiHonor.com through the flash sales system. These will occur on HiHonor.com starting from noon on the 10, 17, 24, and 31 of January. Buyers will be able to get the phone for $199.99 although there will be limited numbers for the flash sales. Meanwhile you can opt to wait for the higher 4GB/64GB version. This model will be priced at $299.99 but won’t be available until late March.
Buyers in the UK, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain can also order the phone from today. This also applies to the UAE, India, Malaysia, Russia, and Saudi Arabia. The Honor 6X price for the UK is £224.99 or €249 for most of the EU, with orders through Amazon or Vmall. Again availability is from January 10 for the 3GB/32GB model. Alternatively the 4GB/64GB variant will be priced at €299 but this won’t arrive until the end of March.
The metal unibody handset is sold in gold, gray, and silver color options, and it’s powered by a Kirin 655 octa-core processor. It features a 5.5-inch Full HD screen and has a decently sized 3,340 battery. The camera set-up is worth noting as there’s a dual sensor arrangement at the rear, and you’ll also get a fingerprint scanner for your money. Will you be one of those ordering the Honor 6X?
