Samsung may not unleash the beast until April, but we could have just gotten a look at their next flagship today. New Samsung Galaxy S8 renders have emerged from the depths of the net and they hit all the right notes when it comes to the smartphone’s rumored design.
While the jury is very much out on what Samsung will bring to the table in terms of features from the Galaxy S8, one rumor won’t die. That involves a missing home button, something Samsung fans have gotten quite familiar with over the years. A set of new renders from designer Veniamin Geskin give us a look at what the S8 would look like sans the button. Stunning is the word we’re going to go with.
Samsung doesn’t have to do much with the Galaxy S8 release to get folks attention, and as you can see, removing the home button would do the trick. This allows for less bezel at the bottom which combined with the slimmer top bezel gives us a stellar screen-to-body ratio. The Samsung logo has been moved from the top to the bottom as well while the rear sensor array stay the same. Obviously, that old home button is now embedded into the display.
As with any render, you’ll want to take this one lightly. The designer has a knack for producing slick renders and while his design lines up with the rumors, it is still just a render based on rumors. That said, we would be pleased as punch to see this particular design arrive in April and think other fans of the brand would feel the same way.
