There’s been plenty of buzz surrounding the new Nokia smartphones that are set to debut next year. The Nokia E1 specifications are making their way through the rumor mill today, and as expected, it will not be in the flagship class.
HMD and TCL are going to be two names you hear a lot of in 2017. The latter will handle new the BlackBerry smartphones while the former takes care of the new Nokia phones. The D1 and E1 are two handsets from the mini arsenal of which we will see entry-level, mid-range and high-end smartphones. If the Nokia E1 specifications leak is true, it will fall somewhere between the entry to mid-level range.
The Nokia E1 should come with a 5.2-inch to 5.3-inch display sporting a resolution of 1,280 x 720. Under the glass, you will find a Snapdragon 425 along with 2GB of RAM. The storage is listed at 16GB, but hopefully expandable although a microSD card wasn’t mentioned. As for the cameras, a 13MP rear camera was listed along with a 5MP front-facing sensor. Other Nokia E1 specifications will include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE and Android 7.0.
As always, you’ll want to take these Nokia E1 specifications with a dose of salt. Make it a small one though as we do expect plenty of affordable Nokia handsets next year. The Nokia E1 price and release date are up in the air, but we will keep you updated as more details come to light.
