It’s been a while since we took a look at a handset from Wileyfox. Over the weekend they announced the Wileyfox Swift 2X which is available for purchase in the UK with a price tag of £219.

The Wileyfox Spark was the last smartphone we covered from the company back in July when it appeared with an entry-level price tag and specifications. We’re pleased to say the Wileyfox Swift 2X is a big step up from that model as it’s a true mid-range handset. It’s also a smartphone that won’t break the bank which makes it an option in the region.

Aside from the processor, the Wileyfox Swift 2X hits all the right notes when it comes to the specifications. While the SD430 won’t drain your battery, their 6xx chips would have been a better choice given the rest of the innards. As for the design, the Wileyfox Swift 2X sports an Aluminum shell with a clean look and is fairly thin at 8.8mm and light at 155grams.

If you are interested in the Wileyfox Swift 2X, you won’t have to wait to pick one up. The handset is already listed on the company’s official UK shop in Midnight Black with a price tag of £219 which shakes out to around $266 in the states.
