The LG G6 release is not likely to be too far away considering its expected unveiling next month. Leaks about the upcoming flagship smartphone have been increasing over recent weeks, giving us some idea of what we can anticipate. Now a new LG G6 concept has emerged based on many of those leaks.
Last week LG released an official video teasing us with features about its next flagship handset. Just a few of the things we might assume from that video are that the phone will feel non-slip, be easy to use with one hand, and also waterproof. There have also been plenty of rumored specs, and the LG G6 concept design in the video below has been inspired by much of this information.
It comes from DBS Designing and has the idea of offering a smaller body but with a larger display. Specs of this LG G6 vision include the world’s first 18:9 5.7-inch display with QHD resolution, and unofficial specs have in fact mentioned a QHD+ display. Other specs of this concept G6 include a Snapdragon 835 processor, a very tasty 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD to 2TB). It’s also imagined to be running Android 8.0 although the LG G6 will arrive with the latest Android Nougat.
Camera-wise it has a dual 13-megapixel rear camera and dual 8-megapixel front-facing snapper. Further specifications and LG G6 features with this design are a 5000 mAh battery (removable and with fast charging), an iris scanner, and something that looks virtually certain, waterproofing. The metal unibody design is a world away from the modular approach of the LG G5 and is sleek and polished. There are no bezels to the sides of the curved-edged screen and very slim ones at the bottom and top.
After checking out the LG G6 concept video below we’d be interested to hear your views on this design idea. Would you be thrilled if the smartphone released looking something like this? What are your thoughts on the included specs and features with this concept?
