ZTE is gearing up to launch a new handset with the model number ZTE BA602. The smartphone has just passed through TENAA certification and it’s bringing a couple of variants along for the ride.
We love a good mystery and that’s exactly what we are getting with the ZTE BA602. It obviously won’t carry the same moniker to market but will come in three different varieties with an entry-level model, a mid-ranger and… well, another mid-ranger. As you might suspect, the RAM and storage are appear to be the only components playing the variant shuffle and regardless of the model, we expect all three to be affordable.
ZTE BA602 Specifications
- 5.5-inches TFT display 1,280 x 720
- Quad-Core MediaTek processor 1.25GHz
- 1GB, 2GB and 3GB of RAM
- 8GB, 16GB and 32GB of expandable storage
- 8MP rear camera
- 2MP front-facing camera

It’s obvious the ZTE BA602 isn’t going to win any awards when it comes to speed or beauty based on the TENAA listing. Assuming each model only changes out the RAM and storage, while uninspiring, the handset could still be quite the bargain depending on its price. We’ll keep our ears peeled for any incoming news on the ZTE BA602 and keep you updated when we find out where this one will land.
