Lava produces a steady stream of new smartphones for India and another has just appeared. The Lava X41+ launches with a Rs. 8,999 price tag and it’s a 4G VoLTE smartphone. Read on for all the details on this new Lava phone.
One of the features of the Lava X41+ is touch-free control with Air Gestures. A swipe left will open the gallery while swiping up opens up the music player. Swiping right will open the camera. Further features include Flip to Mute, 11 Indian languages Support, Smart Gestures, Time Lapse Video, and Slow Motion Video. The handset has a 2.5D curved glass display and also features battery saving with Doze and App Standby modes.
Lava X41+ specs consist of a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage (expandable to 32GB via microSD). It has a 5-inch display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720 (resulting in 294 ppi) that features Corning Gorilla Glass 2 for protection. Connectivity options for this dual SIM handset include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
Further specifications are an 8-megapixel rear camera with 1.4µm pixel size, LED flash, and HD video recording. The phone has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera (also with LED flash) and includes FM Radio and a 3.5mm audio jack. The handset weighs in at 154g and measures 145mm x 71.2mm x 8.8mm. It’s juiced by a 2500 mAh battery. The company claims this will give up to 54 hours and 41 minutes of audio playback at full volume in earphone mode or up to up to 20 hours of audio playback at full volume in speaker mode.
