Yet another smartphone is joining the competition for the market in India. It was already reported that the Elite Power from Swipe was on the way and now the device has appeared listed on a retailer. Swipe Elite Power Flipkart sales start on January 31. We have the price and specifications ahead.

Swipe launches some competitively priced handsets such as the Swipe Elite Max in December that came with 4GB of RAM. The new Elite Power doesn’t have 4GB of RAM but its highlight is offering plenty of battery power with a 4000 mAh battery. It’s claimed this will offer up to 48 hours of use (up to 8 hours or watching movies), a boon for heavy users of smartphones.

The Swipe Elite Power price is Rs. 6,999 and it’s now listed on Flipkart as coming soon. There’s a bank offer for an extra 5% off the price on Axis Bank Buzz Credit Cards. It’s offered in a Space Grey color and measures 156.5mm x 77mm x 8.8mm. The device gets its power from a 1.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor and has a 5.5-inch display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720.

Further specs include 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory that can be expanded via microSD card to 32GB. The hybrid dual SIM smartphone has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper. Connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The phone also features FM Radio, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a fingerprint sensor on the rear.

The Swipe Elite Power run the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and has a sturdy but sleek metal design. The listing includes a product description that says, “If you’re looking for a smartphone that’s not only pleasing to the eyes, but is also powerful enough to handle even the most demanding of applications smoothly, then the Swipe Elite Power is for you.”
