Intex is a company that brings many devices to the smartphone market in India. Today we have news of yet another new 4G VoLTE phone, as Intex continues its mission to offer more customers the option of a 4G handset at an affordable price. The Intex Aqua 4.0 4G has been given a budget price at its launch and the details are right ahead.

4G VoLTE smartphones launched by the company in just the last few weeks have included the Intex Aqua Amaze+ and Intex Cloud Q11 4G. This newest device is an entry-level smartphone that is cheaper than both of the above, as the Intex Aqua 4.0 4G price is just Rs. 4,199. Intex introduces the latest in the Aqua series with the line “Experience Everything Bigger & Better.” Therefore the budget phone has a lot to live up to although that remains to be seen going by the very low-end specs.

The phone has a small 4-inch AMOLED display with WVGA resolution of 800 x 480. Further Intex Aqua 4.0 4G specs include a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and just 512MB of RAM. It’s a dual SIM smartphone with 4G VoLTE support and connectivity options that include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS. The device has 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded by microSD card to 32GB.

More specifications include a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing snapper. Keeping the engine revved is a 1500 mAh battery and the phone also has FM Radio and a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone will be running the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is unlikely to receive further updates. It will be available in three color choices, Black, Blue, and Champagne Gold.
