LG has never been one to sit idly in the smartphone world. The LG G6 will hit the streets soon, but they have plenty of mid-ranger like the LG X400 waiting in thing wings as well. This one is a regional release at the moment but has some interesting specs.
For every LG smartphone launched in the U.S. the Far East will see a dozen. Some make you wish they would make the jump overseas while others can be quite unremarkable. We are still wrapping our heads around the LG X400. It has a solid set of features and a reasonable amount of power for use as a daily driver. That said, the LG X400 price may be a little too high for some given what’s under the hood.

On paper, the LG X400 looks to be a solid mid-ranger that won’t break the bank. In reality, it’s a different story as this one is priced at 319,000 Won. That is right around $280 in the U.S. which is expensive for what you’re getting compared to handsets from Xiaomi, Meizu, and several other fan favorites. Even Oukitel offers up a stronger device at half that price if you can do without the brand name and LG’s software. We don’t expect this one to see a global rollout, but will keep you updated if that changes.
