Whenever there is a major new smartphone release, the leaks come in waves. It is safe to say things have reached a head with the new LG G6 design leak. We have showed you the handset several times over the past few weeks, now it is time for one last look before the company makes things official.
Evan Blass was one of the first to give us a good look at the LG G6 and he may be one of the last as well. That’s where today’s LG G6 design leak comes from, and it is impressive. Several of the early renders gave us a look at a rather bland handset with a new design, but not much style compared the S8 Edge. Well, that isn’t the case anymore.
LG is definitely going with the FullVision panel this year as you can see the bezels are extremely slim all around. The phone will not have an edge of any kind that we can see, but still looks great and is a nice upgrade over last year’s design. The materials used in the build are a bit of a mystery, but the back looks a whole lot better in Black than it did in Silver. It’s classy, and should bring in some sales on the new design alone.

Another area where LG will have an advantage is going to be in the camera department. As you can see (and as they’ve told us) it will have Dual Sensors, something the Galaxy S8 doesn’t have. LG recently confirmed that the rear sensors will be 13MP while the front-facing camera will have a 100-degree field of view. The rest of the LG G6 specs are in the flagship class, so we’ll see a QHD panel and plenty of RAM to go along with that classy new style.
What do you think of the new design language from LG this year?
