We’re only four days away from Amazon’s 36-hour Prime Day 2018 deal bonanza, and just in case Huawei’s first few special offers previewed last week left you unimpressed, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is back to give us a sneak peek of some upcoming Honor-branded promotions.
US-based Amazon Prime members will be able to purchase the already inexpensive Honor View 10 and Honor 7X at outright unbeatable prices on July 16 and 17. The former 6-inch high-end handset is not to be confused with the hot new Honor 10, seeing daylight all the way back in January.
Its 2:1 “FullView” display (with no notch), Kirin 970 SoC (with built-in AI capabilities), 6GB RAM, 128GB internal storage and 20 + 16MP dual rear-facing cameras typically cost $499.99. But for a very limited time, you’ll get them all in exchange for $399.99.
That’s a massive $100 markdown, and you’re obviously looking at a GSM unlocked device equipped with full support for carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile.
The same goes for the mid-range Honor 7X, which is usually priced at $200, but set to go down to $170 on Monday with a humbler Kirin 659 processor in tow, as well as a 2:1 5.93-inch FullView screen, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage space, and dual 16 + 2MP rear shooters.
No wonder this online-first Huawei sub-brand is becoming more and more popular stateside.
