The LG Optimus One smartphone has been LG’s fastest selling smartphone to date having moved one million Optimus One handsets worldwide and now LG has signed UK TV personality and model Kelly Brook as the face of the LG Optimus One.

LG has announced they are partnering the Kent born star due to Kelly’s lifestyle which makes her the ideal ambassador for the LG Optimus One device which also fits Kelly’s glamorous image.

The head of marketing for LG’s Mobile Division, Alex Windle has said, “We are delighted to have Kelly Brook on board as the face of our new LG Optimus One smartphone. The phone represents the smart choice for anyone who has to maintain a busy lifestyle and Kelly really embodies that. It is accessible and affordable with many apps to entertain and plan your life. The device also runs on Android 2.2, which offers lots of great new features such as the innovative Google Mobile services.”

Kelly Brook had this to say… “The LG Optimus One really is the perfect accessory — not only for its stylish looks but it also has loads of clever features that suit my lifestyle and let me find out just about everything. It allows me to stay in touch with my friends and family on the go, wherever I may be. I love being able to share my photos instantly and having recently joined Twitter the phone is also a great tool for tweeting to my fans.”

Kelly Brook also attended the launch of the LG Optimus One at The Penthouse, Leicester Square, so no doubt that was when the deal was arranged.

It seems that smartphone users quite like handing out wads of cash to celebrities to promote their devices these days and Kelly is one in a long line of celebrities opting to slap their name to a brand.
