iOS 4.2 AirPrint Service Enabling Guide for Windows
When Apple pushed out iOS 4.2 along with it came the AirPrint feature which enables those with iOS 4.2 devices to print emails, photos, web pages documents and such over a WiFi connection, but you will need to enable the service on your Windows 7, Windows XP or Windows Vista machine.
Thus the guys over at Jaxov by way of MacRumors, have come up with an iOS 4.2 AirPrint service enabling guide for Windows which is a step by step guide for Windows users and goes like this…
First if you have 64-bit Windows, hit up “c:\Program Files (x86)” and create a new folder naming it “AirPrint.” If you have 32-bit Windows, hit up “C:\Program Files,” and again create a folder naming it “AirPrint.”
Next you need to download the AirPrint.zip and unzip to your AirPrint folder, you can download the zip from (here). Once done go to run and type in “CMD” to open “Command Prompt,” and then enter these commands depending on your operating system version…
64-bit Windows type in…sc.exe create AirPrint binPath= “C:\Program Files (x86)\AirPrint\airprint.exe -s” depend= “Bonjour Service” start= auto
sc.exe start AirPrint
32-bit Windows type in…sc.exe create AirPrint binPath= “C:\Program Files\AirPrint\airprint.exe -s” depend= “Bonjour Service” start= auto
sc.exe start AirPrint
Once you start the AirPrint service you will be prompted by Windows Firewall so click on “Allow Access,” and that’s it all done and dusted you should now be able to print via AirPrint, so if you follow this guide feel free to let us know how you get on.

It is not working for me.
I downloade 4.2 last night and now the size of my screen icons etc. has increased in size to make the ipgone 3gsalmost impossible to use

Am I typing this in correctly?
Question – you say to set up "Program Files" for 32 bit and "Program Files (X86)" for 64 bit . Is that perhaps reversed? The X86 file holds the 32 bit programs, so why would I put my 64 bit source into it???
Please make this clear to understand

I found that if i copyed it and then pasted it into notepad SO there are NO SPACES at the start or end of the "Right click and paste", into the CMD window,,Windows will accept it.. so now i'm going to see it the cmd does get AirPrint working ..one thing at a time ……………………………………..

Just got this working on Small Business Server 2003 – you need Bonjour service running for it to work (I extracted the Bonjour install files from a copy of the iTunes installer)
Prompting for a username and password. I have tried the local user account and the domain admin account but I can't get it to work.
Got this working on Window Home Server "Vail". Like was said above, have to install Bonjour Service first. Also, have to have a space after each of the equals (=) signs in the sc.exe command line.
Nope, not working, even installed bonjour, still no joy. Just says "the specified service does not exist as an installed service"
I have the service working the firewall is set to permit it. But it only works if I open an administrative command window and run airprint. When a single printjob is run thats it.
Got this working on SBS 2008 by installing Bonjour for Windows 64bit on the server and then running AirPrint Installer.exe on the server – from them on I could see and authenticate using Windows Autentication on the iPad – it was that simple…
